Who we are
I’m Jae — founder of Saela Living.
I’ve spent my life caring for others — as the child of disabled parents, a foster and adoptive caregiver, and the grandchild of a veteran. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when care systems break down, and I’ve made it my mission to build something better.
Before founding Saela, I built a career at the intersection of technology, strategy, and compliance — leading complex, high-impact programs for some of the world’s most influential companies. That journey taught me how to lead people, design systems, manage risk, and scale solutions that actually work.
Saela Living was born from the intersection of heart and execution.
It’s a response to one of the most urgent problems facing our country: the lack of safe, culturally respectful, and emotionally intelligent long-term care for our elders, veterans, and vulnerable adults.
The current system isn’t just broken — it’s dehumanizing. Warehoused elders. Underpaid staff. Culturally disconnected food and care. Families navigating an impossible system with no support. I saw it. I lived it. And I knew I had the tools to do something different.
At Saela Living, we design sanctuary-based homes that feel like exactly that — home.
Each licensed care home under our umbrella (like The Grace Home) is rooted in warmth, safety, and soul. We combine professional operations with culturally affirming care, technology-backed systems, and values that center dignity, community, and peace.
This is not charity.
It’s not just business.
This is legacy-building.
We’re building a new model of care — one that honors our past while designing for our future.
And we’re doing it with intention, tech, and a whole lot of heart.
